Setting up an eSIM involves two key steps: installation and activation. You can install the eSIM on your compatible device at your convenience. However, activation requires being within the coverage area of your chosen eSIM plan.
For the best experience, we suggest installing the eSIM before starting your journey and activating it once you arrive at your destination.
Option 1 – By scanning the eSIM QR Code
Install the eSIM by scanning the QR Code.
- Go to your account to find your QR code.
- Scan your QR code and add the confirmation code if prompted.
To activate the eSIM, take the following steps:
- If necessary, go to Network & Internet and tap on the Mobile network to set the correct APN listed in the Additional Info which is at the bottom-right of the selected data package page.
- Turn on eSIM under Mobile Network
- Enable Mobile Data
- Enable Data Roaming (Please turn off your primary line to avoid roaming charges from your carrier provider when overseas)
- If you still don't have connectivity, please check your APN (access point name) settings. Probably your APN was not set automatically. You can set the APN manually. Please find the APN details in myaccount.keepgo.com > eSIM lines > More information.
Here's how to manually change APN settings on an Android mobile phone.
- From the home screen, tap the Menu button.
- In the phone configuration, select “Wireless and network.”
- Tap the “Mobile Networks” option.
- Scroll down and tap on “Access point name or APN.”
- Tap on the three-dot menu in the upper right corner of the screen.
- Tap on “New APN” and enter the APN details from myaccount.keepgo.com > eSIM lines>More information.
- Once it’s done, click on the ‘Save’ option in the upper right corner of the screen.
Option 2 – By adding the eSIM manually
If you are experiencing issues scanning the QR code or are unable to scan the QR code, you can enter eSIM details manually.
Follow these steps to install the eSIM:
- Go to your account to find your QR code
- Go to Settings on your device
- Tap on Network & Internet
- Tap the Add icon next to Mobile Network
- Tap Next when asked, “Don’t have a SIM card?”
- Tap Enter Code Manually. You will be asked to enter your SM-DP+Adress in the following format: LPA:1$SMDP+ADDRESS$ACTIVATIONCODE
To activate the eSIM, take the following steps:
- Turn on your eSIM under Mobile Network
- Enable Mobile data
- Enable Data Roaming (Please turn off your primary line to avoid roaming charges from your carrier provider when overseas)

The eSIM QR code is unique and can be installed only once. If you have lost or changed your device or removed the eSIM accidently, you need to purchase a new one. Change the Label of Your eSIM Line
On your device, label the eSIM as «Keepgo_bundle_name." This will help clearly identify the eSIM on your device, improving the efficiency of our support services.
